Recognizing Trauma
Traumatic experiences often involve a threat to life or safety, but any situation that leaves one feeling overwhelmed and alone can be traumatic.
Some Common Reactions to Trauma:

1.) Don’t isolate
Ask for support; participate in social activities; join a support group; Volunteer.
2.) Stay grounded
Stick to daily routine; break large jobs into smaller tasks; Find activities that make you feel better; Allow yourself to feel what you feel when you feel it.
3.) Take care of your health
Get plenty of sleep; Avoid alcohol and drugs; Exercise regularly; Eat a well-balanced diet; Reduce stress.
